Posavasos have been around for some time now—they are Cecilia Kang, Chueco Ferrer (from Klemm) and Javier Belziti (from Electrón, and also former Los Brujos)—but lately they are devoting more time to this project. After 'Demolición Inmediata', their 2011 LP, which displays a kind of pop that relies mostly on the beat, so traditional to the genre, they began 2012 in El Charquiadero, in the mountains of Catamarca province, recording with an unusually naturalistic approach, with few of their own instruments and relying a lot on some infrequent ones they could find—such as ukelele, metallophone, and the traditional drum for local folklore.

The result is 'Yuyo', a seven-track EP that goes from the song format to the trippy impromptu with bird chirping, but is always sweet to the ear, with a gentle and positive energy that transports us to that landscape and makes us feel we are lying on the grass, in the sunshine, and everything else can wait.
